Did not meet expectations, dark nails still don't shine through sufficiently, quite bulky, not very convenient for small breeds. I wouldn't expect much from this device, but what else can one expect? At least the lighting is good.
The quality looks good, but I'm not happy: after I released the safety lock, I couldn't lock it again.
It doesn't work at all for large dogs, which was the only reason I bought it. The trimmer is supposed to be for large dogs but doesn't work as the nail splits open when you cut it. The file doesn't have enough power for large dog nails and the nail doesn't fit completely into the file slot either... if you have large dogs, look for another option.

item came poorly constructed, that firstly Inhad to tighten scissor blades with a screwdriver. Sure, the LED light is a pure marketing for white nail pet owners, as nothing is seen for dark brown dog nails.

A screw housing was catching on the scissors' safety lock, so I couldn't release it. Once I removed that bit, the lock released and engaged properly. Worth knowing before buying.
