This panel is a dense woven mat with adhesive already on the back: cut it to the shape of the spot, press it down, and the scratching carries on somewhere it does no damage.

How to fit it

Clean and dry the surface first. Cut the panel to size, peel back a few centimetres of the backing, line the piece up, then press it down as you pull the rest of the backing away. Work from one edge so no air gets trapped.

Care note

Fit it to clean, dry, sound surfaces. On painted walls or delicate veneers, test a small piece in a hidden spot first and leave it a day before committing — how easily any adhesive lifts depends on what is underneath. Not for use on wallpaper.
