The toy that plays when you cannot.

Most cat toys need a human on the other end. This one does not. Press the base down on a smooth floor, and the feather sits at the top of a long springy wire — every swipe sends it bouncing and recoiling on its own, which is exactly the unpredictable movement a cat cannot ignore.

How to use it

Press the base firmly onto a smooth, clean floor and give it a wiggle to check it has taken hold. Start the game once, then let them carry on. Put it away between sessions — a toy that appears is far more interesting than one that is always there.

Safety note

Play with feathers is supervised play. Feathers are not food: if your cat starts pulling the feather apart or trying to swallow pieces, take the toy away. Check the feather and the wire tip before each session and retire the toy if either is damaged. Not a chew toy, and not for unsupervised play with kittens who eat everything.
