Black coat, black trousers, black anything — you already know. This mitt goes on your hand and lifts cat and dog hair off jumpers, sofas, cushions and bedding in a few passes.

How to use it

Slip your hand into the mesh side. Sweep the grey face back and forth across the fabric — short strokes, no pressure needed. The hair gathers along the middle; pull it off and carry on. When it stops picking up, rinse it and leave it to dry.

No. This one is for fabric — jumpers, sofas, cushions, bedding and car seats. If you want something to groom the animal itself, our grooming gloves are the tool for that.

What surfaces does it work on?

Woven fabric — jumpers, sofa cushions, armrests, bedding and car seats. Hard surfaces are better handled with a cloth, and it is not designed for leather.

How do I clean the mitt?

Rinse it under running water — no detergent needed — and let it dry fully before it goes back in the drawer.

How long does it last?

There is no adhesive to use up, so it keeps working for as long as the pile does. The supplier does not state a wash count and we would rather not invent one.

Will it pull hair out of the weave?

It lifts loose hair sitting on the surface. Hair that has worked its way deep into the weave of a jumper usually needs a wash as well.
